My sister Euli’s birthday was in February. I wanted to make her a special cake and asked her what her favorite was. She said a Whipped Cream Banana pudding cake. This was one my mom used to make for her. I didn’t have the recipe but between the two of us we came up with a very close approximation.
It is pretty easy to make and super delicious! I hadn’t had it since I was little but it was just as good as I remembered. Euli thought so too.
I took pictures of how we put it together. The cake should be made the night before and refrigerated to give the flavors time to settle in.
1 yellow cake mix
whipped cream (1 pint)
1 large banana pudding mix (instant – 5.1 oz.)
banana’s (think about 4)
Directions: Mix cake according to package directions and pour into two round layer cake pans. Bake and let cool completely.
Mix up instant pudding and put in refrigerator. Whip up cream and put in refrigerator.
When cake is cooled follow these simple directions for a super, yummy desert.
